A: thePropertyBid.com has a unique, easy to use & convenient approach where you can enter your property in a property rental auction, that you have complete control over. Also, for a limited time, all properties that receive a winning successful bid you will be eligible for tenant referencing and a FREE ENERGY PERFORMANCE CERTIFICATE.

Q: How do I list my property(ies) with thePropertyBid.com?

Q: Do I have to agree to a minimum rental price for my property before I list with thePropertyBid.com?
A: Yes, you can set a reserve amount and the system will only accept bids over that amount that you have stated.

Q: Does thePropertyBid.com act as the agent for property owners?
A: No, thePropertyBid.com does not act as the agent for owners or tenants. thePropertyBid.com acts as a rental property listing platform and has no official relationship with any party involved.

Q: When I list a property, how should I describe it?
A: In simple terms, just be honest! Try and list the surrounding features such as transportation links, shopping facilities, schools, council tax banding etc… Also small but useful information such as if the property has broadband or electricity / gas key meter.

Q: How much does it cost to use thePropertyBid.com?
A: It’s free to list any property but a one time fee of 20% of 1 month’s rent will be applied at the end of any auction which ends with an amount equal to or above the reserved amount. e.g. 20% of £1000 (final monthly figure) = £200

Q: How do I pay my commission?
A: We accept payment via Paypal.

Q: I own a commercial property but it's been un-occupied for a very long time, how can I make it more attractive to potential tenants?
A: One way would be to be prepared to work with your potential tenants and lower your original asking price. Now, we know it sounds quite radical but please hear us out. The term 'market rent' is only applicable when people are prepared to rent your property at 'that' price. However, if you lower the asking price (which becomes the new 'market rent') and negotiate a percentage of the profits, your possibilities are greatly improved.
